PURPOSE:To provide an image processing device capable of immediately discrimi nating a faulty part and provided with a self-diagnosing function. CONSTITUTION:Delay of one line is supplied to image data inputted to an edge emphasis part by two FIFO memory 404, 405, respectively. Those FIFO memory are controlled by a reset signal 402 and an enable signal 403. When self- diagnosis is performed, the FIFO are set in an enable state by always keeping the enable signal at 'L'. Also, the data to be inputted are limited to only fixed pattern data. In this way, the edge emphasis part can fetch test data when it is desired, and the abnormality of the edge emphasis part can be detected. |
