PURPOSE:To assign the display position of respective candidates equally without any deviation by providing a means which does not fix the display positions (or display order) of the respective candidates. CONSTITUTION:When an application program for voting is actuated under the control of a CPU 12, a candidate display array control program PA in a RAM 13 is actuated. Before the candidate's names are displayed, the count value of a counter which stores the number (n) of candidates whose positions are fitted is initialized to 0 and then the number N of candidates to be registered is calculated by using a candidate data base in an election information file 17; while n<N, a random number generating process for generating a number which is less than N and not generated even once is performed. Once the number (n) of position-assigned candidates reaches N and it is confirmed that all the registered candidates are assigned (N = n), candidate information is displayed on the liquid crystal display 6 of an integrated display input device 2 in an array based upon the allocation order in units of a specific number of candidates. |
