PURPOSE:To facilitate fixing work to a substrate by disposing a bracket movable from a tip toward a base in the vicinity of the tips of connecting terminals with the terminals inserted into predetermined positions, thus constituting a connector. CONSTITUTION:When a bracket 45 is fitted between side walls 42c of a connector main body 41 with hooks 45a inclined slightly inward, hook surfaces 45a' of the hooks 45a are engaged with hook locking projection upper surfaces 42b' of the side walls 42c so that the connector main body 41 is engaged with the bracket 45. Subsequently, when a connector 4 for mounting a circuit substrate is placed on a predetermined position of a substrate 18, the tips of connecting terminals 13-1 positioned by holes 31a of the bracket 45 mate with through-holes 18b of the substrate 18. If the connector 4 is pressed down as it is, the connector main body 41 descends together with a plug terminal with the bracket 45 kept to abut against the surface of the substrate, and consequently, the connector 4 is disposed in the substrate 18. As a result, it is possible to reduce deficiency of the connector and facilitate fixing work to the substrate. |
