摘要 PURPOSE:To make a system compact and to improve power generation efficiency by using an internal heating type fuel reformer for reforming a material fuel into a fuel gas primarily consisting of hydrogen, and by providing a hydrogen recovery regenerator for recovering the hydrogen in the fuel gas exhausted from a fuel electrode and for reutilizing it. CONSTITUTION:A material fuel 1 is mixed with a steam guided from a steam separator 18 by a mixer 3, and is heated by a heat exchanger 12. After the air 9 is pressurized by a compressor 8, it is heated by the heat exchanger 12. The material fuel and the air are guided to an internal heating type steam reformer 4b and mixed together and are converted into a fuel gas primarily consisting of hydrogen by means of partial oxidation reaction and steam reforming reaction. The mixture is fed to the fuel electrode 7 of a fuel cell main body 6, and is reacted with the oxygen in the air 9 flowed in an oxidizer electrode 10 by the compressor 8, and a large part of the hydrogen in the fuel gas is consumed to obtain electric energy and to produce water as by-product. The anode exhaust gas discharged from the fuel electrode 7 is guided to a hydrogen recovery regenerator 20 to recover the hydrogen not yet utilized. The hydrogen thus recovered is returned to a fuel gas line again and is cycled.
