PURPOSE:To provide a drive circuit of an ultrasonic motor, which makes possible the stable drive at all temperature in use without using a monitor electrode for detection of oscillation. CONSTITUTION:The drive circuit of an ultrasonic motor 4, which drives a driven body by generating oscillatory waves by applying AC drive voltage, possesses an oscillating circuit 1, which sets the frequency of AC drive voltage, a memory 7, which stores frequency higher than the resonance frequency at the lowest temperature when using the ultrasonic motor 4, and an oscillation control circuit 6, which controls the oscillating circuit 1 so that the frequency of AC drive voltage may be higher frequency on the basis of the frequency information stored in the memory 7. |
