PURPOSE:To discriminate the direction, center, and inside and outside of parts by only a fixed detection algorithm regardless of the shape of the parts and reduce cost of a parts discriminating device. CONSTITUTION:As a recognition mark is imparted to the specified side of parts in this parts discriminating method, the specified sides of parts 1 to 3 can be recognized by detecting the recognition mark . Thus, the inside and outside of the parts 1 to 3 can be discriminated. As a point O to be fixed according to the positional relation matches with the centers of the parts 1 to 3 in plural recognition marks , the centers of the parts 1 to 3 can be discriminated by detecting the positional relation of the recognition mark . As the parts 1 to 3 are imparted to have directivity by plural recognition marks , the directions of the parts 1 to 3 can be discriminated by detecting the directivity that plural recognition marks have. When the recognition mark itself has directivity, the centers and directions of the parts 1 to 3 can be discriminated by two recognition marks . |
