摘要 PURPOSE:To attain phase synchronization between a control signal and an optical packet signal in a detector before detecting the optical packet signal by using a frame pulse for optical synchronization for a high speed optical packet signal by providing a processor which decides the phase of the signal of an oscillator based on the output of a comparator. CONSTITUTION:In an optical packet signal string having the frame pulse in which the optical packet signal orthogonally crossing a polarized wave, an optical packet is separated from the frame pulse by a polarization beam splitter 1, and the frame pulse is divided into two by an optical demultiplexer 8. Then, one output is strength-modulated by an optical gate switch 9, and the optical power of the output is measured by an optical power meter 11. The other output of the optical demultiplexer 8 is measured by an optical power meter 10. Then, both optical powers are compared by a comparator 12, and the phase adjustment of signals to the optical gate switch 9 and a frequency division circuit 7, or the adjustment of an optical variable delay line is operated so that the rate of both optical powers can be always equal in a processor.
