PURPOSE:To reduce the data amount of bit map font by rasterizing the picture consisting of plural characters which are arranged two-dimensionally. CONSTITUTION:The entire picture which is prepared by arranging plural characters two-dimensionally is taken as one picture data to make it as an object 1 for rasterizing. Thus, the limit of the position relation of character is eliminated to make an arrangement in the higher degree of freedom. Thus, the common part included in the character can be effectively shared with the other characters without being limited in the rasterizing direction. The direction in rasterizing does not affect on the effect of reducint the data amount so that the completely same effect can be obtained if all characters are rasterized in the horizontal direction or in the vertical direction. Even when all characters are rasterized by taking them as one picture or even when theyare rasterized by dividing it into several groups, the same effect can be obtained. |
