The system automatically performs hatching and marking of informations on the steel plates by detecting the width, length, thickness of input steel materials, comparing the values with real value and judging the standard. The system comprises information transmission/reception processing means for transmitting or receiving the information of the steel materials to the system sub-control section via a modem; standard detecting means for detecting the real size of the steel material moving on the conveyor; detection control means for controlling the detecting means; ink-jet printer means for recording the standard; marking and hatching means having a step motor, DC motor, pneumatic cylinder; digital data input/output section with respective channels.
