PURPOSE:To obtain a label printer equipped with a means capable of properly sticking a label to goods such as a floppy disk or a video tape, etc., by the user. CONSTITUTION:This label printer is operated to set a printing head 2 in a position where printing should be performed on a label corresponding to a back face of a floppy disk and then to print a back face character string 58 according to printing data concerned. At this time, while the back face character string 58 is printed, a positioning mark is printed according to a control program in a ROM. This positioning mark is composed of two positioning marks 40L and 40R, and the length of the mark 40 is settled to be the same value as the width of the back face of the floppy disk in order to easily set the label 53 to be stuck to the floppy disk. |
