<p>PURPOSE:To reduce the number of types of resistor constituting an electronic circuit by selecting a plurality of resistors, arranged on an insulating substrate while being set with specific resistances, arbitrarily and connecting them thereby setting many types of resistance. CONSTITUTION:A resistor 1 comprising (n) pieces of resistors is formed on a ceramic substrate. The resistor 1 comprises (n) pieces of resistors R1, R2,..., Rn connected in parallel, with the resistance thereof being set by a formula Ri=2<i-1>X10<i-1>OMEGA (where, j is an integer and i=1, 2, ..., n). Electrodes 2 of each resistor are formed individually on the periphery of the ceramic substrate so that each resistor can be connected arbitrarily with other electrodes and external circuits through the electrodes 2. Consequently, the resistor 1 can sets 2<n-1> types of resistance arbitrarily with the unit of 10<j-1> by varying the external connection. This constitution allows reduction in the number of types of electronic component required for constitution of an electronic circuit.</p> |
