PURPOSE:To provide a developing device provided with a sealing member having a sufficient sealing effect without damaging the reinforcing film on a sleeve. CONSTITUTION:The surface of the aluminum sleeve 1 is subjected to an FGB (Fine Grass Bead) treatment for adjusting roughness and is coated thereon with the film formed by incorporating both of crystalline graphite and carbon black into a phenolic resin. The ratio of the weight of the resin in the film in the magnetic sealing parts by magnets 4 is so increased that, for example, the P/B ratio of the film 11 in an image region attains 1/1 and the P/B ratio of the film 12 in the sealing parts attains 1/2 when the weight of the crystalline graphite and the carbon is defined as P and the weight of the resin as B. |
