PURPOSE:To provide a color density pattern recognition device by which the color and shape of an object can be recognized without being affected by the change of ambient lightness and at high speed. CONSTITUTION:This device is a color density pattern recognition device composed of frame memories 13 to 16 storing each signal R, G, B and Y obtained by performing an A/D conversion for the color image signal from a television camera 11 by gradation data, each reference pattern memory 17 to 19 of the R, G and B, a circuit calculating a lightness correction coefficient from a Y level, a circuit correcting the screen written by the R, G and B by this lightness correction coefficient and performing a template matching with a reference pattern and a circuit storing the screen data segmenting location where the matching degree becomes the best. |
