The invention concerns a device for dispensing portions of foodstuffs or the like from a collapsible food container (1) with a hose (3) made of an elastically self-restoring material, the said hose resting against a spring mounted partition (15) in a lamella-hose pump (4). To widen the range of uses of the device it is proposed that the force exerted by the spring mounting of the partition should be greater than the self-restoring force of the hose, which should be sufficient to draw from the storage container (1) a pasty substance which cannot flow independently in the hose.
