The circuit for controlling the variation of colour signal level caused by the multi heads with a single circuit includes a circuit (8) amplifying the output signal of the colour signal processor, a circuit (9) detecting the signal level of output of the circuit (8), a circuit (6) selecting the one head from the multi head with the multi head control signal, and a circuit (7) having a number of capacitors as many as the number of multi channel and comparing the detected signal level with the reference. According to the compared result, the capacitor corresponding to the channel selected by the circuit (6) is charged/discharged so that the amplification gain of the circuit (8) is controlled.
