In order to prevent the lateral breakaway of the injection lances (1) serving for the anchorage of a side path (R) running along the railway embankment, said injection lances are interconnected by wire ropes (3). After attaching a top beam (7) which is supported on pipe clamps (6), the region below is covered by means of a shuttering grid (8), against which a nonwoven (9) is laid on the track side. The method secures the side path, and hence also the adjoining railway track installation, against lateral collapse-type breakaway and additionally permits uncomplicated and cost-saving realisation, as well as unhindered water drainage. <IMAGE>
