Transmission arrangement

A description is given of various transmission arrangements, in particular for converting a rotary motion into an oscillating motion, in particular a motion in which the oscillation is rectilinear, and vice versa in at least one direction, in which a first and a second gearwheel in counter-engagement are provided, the first gearwheel being arranged so as to be rotatable about a fixed eccentric point allocated to it, and the first and the second gearwheel being connected to one another in such a way by means of a connecting device that the centres of the two gearwheels are always the same distance apart, and the two gearwheels are furthermore designed and arranged in such a way that no point of the second gearwheel is fixed and that the centre of the second gearwheel does not move in a continuous path around the fixed eccentric point. In another transmission arrangement, the eccentrically mounted gearwheels are combined with a crank and/or rocker. In yet another transmission arrangement, eccentrically mounted gearwheels are supported by means of a rocker. In another form of transmission arrangement, ring elements that can be rotated relative to one another and have arms are provided, one of the arms being attached to a fixed point, the transmission arrangement revolving around this point of attachment and the end of the second arm being guided in a straight-line guide track.
