Voice-frequency calling system

The voice-frequency calling system is intended to enable disabled people to operate the light and calling system by themselves, using oral sounds. This device is a considerable hygienic aid for patients having disorders such as for example tetraplegia, paraplegia, polyarthritis, multiple sclerosis or other types of disorders. Even in the case of people with multiple injuries, the voice-frequency calling system can be used practically. The device comprises a display unit and a swivellable microphone. These two parts are fixedly interconnected. On the rear, there is the fastening possibility for the mounting system with ball-and-socket joint. The supply voltage (12 V) is supplied by the power supply unit (input voltage 230 V/50 Hz, I < 10 mu A). The switching functions produced by the device are connected, by means of a plug, to the light and calling installation of the ward. Using the swivellable arm, the microphone is placed in the vicinity of the patient. The sensitivity can be set by means of the regulator. When the patient is being nursed, the device can be switched off.
