The screwdriver 1 has an output shaft 17, formed on which is a torsion shaft 29 of a torque measuring sensor 12. Planet wheels 25 of a planetary gear 11 of the screwdriver 1 are mounted on the output shaft 17. The output shaft 17 is supported in rolling bearings 40, 41 with respect to a supporting bush 26 fixed in the housing. The supporting bush 26 with the planetary gear 11 located therein and the measuring sensor 12 is encompassed by a screwdriver housing 10 constructed as one piece. The number of components and the constructional size of the screwdriver are reduced, and its accuracy is improved. <IMAGE>
