Cutting apparatus for webs of plastic

An apparatus for cutting a web of plastic comprises a rotatable shaft and a multiplicity of circular cutters, which are fitted at equal intervals and fixedly on the shaft and rotate with the latter. Each cutter has at its peripheral edge a cutting blade. Spacer discs are provided on the rotatable shaft in order to hold the cutters. A reciprocating or oscillating device may be provided in order to move the rotatable shaft back and forth in a direction along which a web of plastic is moving.
