A clamping device comprises a plate member (10) from one side of which a plurality of article-gripping members (12, 14) extend. Two article-gripping members (12) are positioned to grip around a lower part of an article and one article-gripping member (14) is movable from a non-article gripping position to an article-gripping position whereat it is securable. The article-gripping members are located around an article with the plate member (10) positioned against an outer side of the article. The clamp may be used as an anti-theft wheel clamp or as a warning sign on a pipe. <IMAGE> |
