摘要 <p>PURPOSE:To regenerate a desulfurizing agent while the temp. of a regeneration reactor is controlled by withdrawing a part of the SO2-containing gas on the downstream side of the regeneration reactor and supplying oxygen-containing gas to the remainder to recirculate the gaseous mixture to the upstream part of the regeneration reactor. CONSTITUTION:A part of the SO2-containing gas on the downstream side of a regeneration reactor 1 is withdrawn out of the system and the remainder of the SO2-containing gas on the downstream side of the regeneration reactor 1 is recirculated to the upstream part of the regeneration reactor 1 by a recirculation line 3 equipped with a recirculation compressor 2. An oxygen- containing gas supply pipe 4 is connected to the recirculation line 3. By this method, since the concn. of oxygen in regeneration gas can be controlled, heat diffusion is accelerated and the temp. in the regeneration reactor can be controlled and, therefore, the preheating of the oxygen-containing gas becomes unnecessary. Further, since SO2 formed in the regeneration reactor is accumulated in the recirculation gas and conc. to be sent to a post-treatment process, this apparatus becomes compact and SO2 is efficiently treated.</p>
