The system, which has been shown in Figure 1, consists of the following elements: accelerator pedal 1, switch 2 for the accelerator pedal, floor-mounted switch 3, control module 4, timer relay 5 and brake-like circuit 6. This system detects, in advance, the driver's intention to brake and lights up the brake lights, it thus being possible to prevent a large number of accidents by vehicles being driven too close to one another. It also lights up the emergency lights (or, alternatively, a third brake light, located in the rear screen) when the vehicle decelerates sharply, thereby also contributing to a reduction in such accidents. <IMAGE> |
