<p>Two arcuate portions 14, 16 of a metal game racquet are covered respectively with a first surface treatment layer 22 extending to reach the shaft-handle portions such that the junctions of the arcuate portions are devoid of a seam or a head. The metal game racket comprises a main frame 10 of metal tube and having a circular head frame 12 and two arcuate portions 14, 16 extending posteriorly from two open ends of the head frame to form two shaft-handle portions 18, 20 parallel to each other. The first surface treatment layer has an anterior end and a posterior end, which are preferably covered, along with the surfaces of the arcuate portions, with a bridging layer made of long fiber fabric sheets preimpregnated with a thermosetting resin. In this case the first surface treatment layer is attached securely to the surface of the metal main frame of the metal game racket. The racket may be provided with a crescent shaped jaw frame (36 Fig. 6) and may involve a plurality of surface treatment and bridging layers. <IMAGE></p> |
