PURPOSE:To prevent the howling of low range from being generated by arranging a support of a preset shape in a preset direction. CONSTITUTION:A speaker box 1, which is operative to vibrate substantially in the horizontal direction is supported on supports 4 and 4 which are mounted to have their curved surfaces positioned at a right angle with respect to the main vibratory direction of the box 1 and which are in contact with a floor 5 such that the number of the arcs having a radius of curvature larger than a half of the distance between the box 1 and the floor 5 rolls on the floor 5. As a result, the supports 4 and 4 exhibit the low pass filter functions for the vibrations of the box 1 in the main direction so that the box 1 vibtates only in that direction, and the resonant frequency is adjusted to a level lower than 10 Hz so that the howling of a low range can be prevented. Incidentally, the supports have their both sides 4a and 4b formed into an arcuate shape, their floor contacting side 4b formed into an arcuate shape and their opposite side 4a formed into an nagular or over shape. |
