摘要 PURPOSE:To simply transfer a high-quality image to general-purpose paper of a remarkably wide range of types by a method wherein in a thermal transfer recording sheet provided with a colorant dyeing layer that can be thermally transferred and an adhesive layer, at least a resin and fine particles are incorporated in the colorant dyeing layer. CONSTITUTION:In a thermal transfer recording sheet provided with a colorant dyeing layer that is formed on a substrate and can be thermally transferred onto recording paper and an adhesive layer formed on the colorant dyeing layer, at least a resin and fine particles are incorporated in the colorant dyeing layer. The loading amount of the fine particles is 50-300 pts.wt. per 100 pts.wt. of the resin. The thickness of the adhersive layer is determined to be not more than 10mum. The colorant dyeing layer is composed of a multilayer structure at least having a white hiding layer and an image receiving layer. The resin and the fine particles are incorporated in each of the layers. As the fine particles, inorganic particles of a silica, a silicone resin, and others and organic particles of a urea resin, a benzoguanamine resin, a polystyrene resin, and the like can be used.
