The driving cab shell is located between the tractor rear wheels and made up of a first interior layer (5) to resist wear caused by entering and leaving. A second layer of sound aborbing material of sand or bitumen is carried by a layer of plastic or steel panels (2). Distance pieces are provided between the interior layer (5) and the external panels. The external panels may be additionally coated with a sound absorbing layer.
