<p>PURPOSE:To provide a process for transporting fish, shellfish, crustacean, mollusk, sea urchin, etc., in living state over a longer period using a limited amount of aqueous solution and provide a process for keeping the freshness of green vegetables, fruits, flowers, cereals and meats. CONSTITUTION:A container 2 is manufactured with expanded polystyrene, etc., and a partition part or protrusion 32 to divide the space in the vessel is molded in a state integrated with the container 2. A gas such as methane, LPG, butane and LNG or styrene is dissolved in an aqueous solution from the side wall part 31 by increasing the amount of the aqueous solution to be put into the container 2 and the contacting area of the side wall part and submerging the partitioning part or protruding part 32 of the container 2 into the aqueous solution. The ammonia concentration in the aqueous solution is decreased by the action of these dissolved gases, the microorganisms such as nitrifying bacteria are killed or suppressed and the fish and shellfish are slept by the action of styrene dissolved in the aqueous solution. The freshness of green vegetables, fruits, etc., can be maintained by using a gas such as methane, LPG, etc., or styrene.</p> |
