<p>PURPOSE:To provide a novel adiabatic casing for an electric refrigerator, having recycle characteristics capable of conducting a dismounting step without human attendance, and a dismounting method for the casing. CONSTITUTION:Six openings, each having a diameter of 6cm, are provided on a rear face of a metallic outer casing 1, which is made of a coated steel plate having 0.2mm in thickness and which has a capacity of 500 liters, and each opening is sealed from its inside with a separate cover 5 made of an ABS resin, each having 8mm in diameter and 3mm in thickness. A polypropylene sheet is stuck on the inner walls of the outer casing 1 as a lubricant peeling layer with the aid of an adhesive. Rigid polyurethane is foam-molded and packed between the outer casing 1 and the inner casing 3 made of the ABS resin as a foam adiabatic material 4 to obtain an adiabatic casing. When this adiabatic casing is dismounted, pressure is applied to the covers 5 of the sealed portions by a dismounting apparatus 7 having pistons 8 to push forward the foam adiabatic material 4 together with the inner casing 3 made of resin after cutting a line for cutting provided at the end of the side face close to the front face of the outer casing 1, whereby the outer casing 1 and the inner casing 3 are dismounted and separated from each other.</p> |
