PURPOSE:To comply with various specifications by the minimum number of part items. CONSTITUTION:A cam for operating a lock shaft 7 and an ignition switch 5 is composed of a first cam 41 operating the lock shaft 7 according to the retractable motion and turning operation of a key and a second cam 42 operating the ignition switch 5. Therefore each form and size of both these first and second cams 41 and 42 is properly changed, whereby a versatile steering locking device being mountable to various automobiles different in specifications each is securable, through which the number of part items is held down to minimum, cost is decreased, and the change of specifications can be complied with in an easy manner. |
