COLUMN TUBE CONNECTING STRUCTURE FOR BICYCLE FRONT FORK MADE OF FRP AND MANUFACTURE OF COLUMN TUBE CONNECTING SECTION

PURPOSE:To provide the connecting structure of a column tube and the manufacture of the column tube, which increases stiffness of the connecting section of a column tube and a fork body, and concurrently effectively prevents the column tube from falling. CONSTITUTION:A metallic column tube 11 formed with a locking member 13 in a fork shape at its end section 11a in advance is formed, and is set within a mold while the locking member 13 in a fork shape of the column tube 11 is disposed at the shoulder section of the preform of a fork body 12. After that, resin is injected into the mold so as to be heated while being pressurized, so that the locking member 13 of the column tube 11 and the fork body 12 are thereby integrally formed.
