Bitter tasting decongestants, antihistamines, antitussive and expectorants are effectively taste masked using a magnesium trisilicate/fumed silica adsorbate which is undetectable during dissolution in the mouth yet provides a high degree of drug bioavailability when it reaches the acidic conditions of the stomach. |
