PURPOSE:To obtain a micro size type crystal vibtator of high accuracy and stability over a long period by employing excitation levels of 1/10 or under with respect to breakdown excitation levels for a thin film vibrator. CONSTITUTION:A crystal vibrator (thin plate vibrator) of flexural mode is used for an oscillation circuit by making use of chemical etching. And the excitation level is decreased to 1/10 or under of breakdown level by lowering the supply voltage of the oscillation circuit or inserting a resistance R. Thereby, the variations in the frequency owing to variations, etc. in applied voltage may be made extremely small. |
