摘要 PURPOSE:To lessen disturbance of density in a printed matter by controlling the amount of supply of moistening water in response to an output of a speed detecting means and on the basis of a control signal in a first memory means and a difference between a signal of an ink splitting sound detecting means and an optimum ink splitting sound pressure in a second memory means. CONSTITUTION:A detection signal of a rotation speed detector 15 is converted digitally and inputted to a conversion table 43a. Based on a plurality of data D1 to Dn on the relationship between a printing speed and an optimum amount of supply of moistening water in a memory 43b, a signal showing the amount of supply of moistening water in relation to a speed of rotation is outputted to a D/A converter 44 from the conversion table 43a. Meanwhile, an ink splitting sound is detected by a microphone 9d, a sound pressure value at a specific frequency is determined and an ink splitting sound pressure value is determined. In a control part 91d for detecting the ink splitting sound, the ink splitting sound pressure value is compared with an optimum ink splitting sound pressure level stored in an ink splitting sound pressure memory 95d by a comparator circuit 54d. In the case when the detection signal is lower or higher than the lower or upper limit of the range of a stored ink splitting sound pressure, the amount of supply of moistening water is judged to be large or small and a correction signal is delivered to a voltage correction signal generating circuit 96d.
