摘要 <p>PURPOSE: To supply a compensation function capable of dealing with a change induced in a rolling parameter from the change induced in a rolling mill speed by a algorithm which integrates the advantages of an open loop feed forward control and a closed loop feedback control to the rolling mill. CONSTITUTION: This method has a process of generating the compensation function for regulating the actuator motion necessary for maintaining the rolling parameter a the function of the rolling mill speed at a desired level. The compensation function is used to calculate the compensation value change for respective actuators 28, 30 and 42 during the change of the rolling mill speed. The compensation value change is added to the present level of the compensation value for the purpose of providing the latest compensation value. The latest compensation value is converted to the voltage for controlling the actuators. The light valve is added to the reference voltages of associated electric controllers 18, 32 and 44 and the actuators are provided with the total voltage reference. The total voltage reference substance substantially eliminates the occurrence of an error in the control process occurring in the change of the rolling mill speed.</p>
