<p>PURPOSE:To improve printing quality by enabling reception even if a signal has a higher resolving power than a printing part so that feeling of ruggedness of oblique lines of a printed image is reduced. CONSTITUTION:A means is provided to generate an additional line timing signal between timings of a line timing signal and a line timing signal, and dots are formed twice per one line. A plurality of continuous bit data of received video signal 11 are subjected to logical computation and converted to a first signal comprising data rows corresponding to resolving power of an LED head 19. The first signal is transferred to the LED head 19 as a head data signal 18 for forming dots in a basic raster line. And a plurality of bit data are logically computed at different timings and are converted to a second signal comprising other data rows. The second signal is transferred to the head 19 as a head data signal 18 for forming dots in an additional raster line.</p> |
