PURPOSE:To obtain the composition, comprising a thermoplastic resin, a bromine-containing organic flame retardant, an inorganic flame retardant assistant and a specific copolymer, capable of sustaining excellent antistatic properties for a long period of time and excellent in flame retardancy. CONSTITUTION:This thermoplastic resin composition comprises (A) 100 pts.wt. thermoplastic resin, (B) 2-40 pts.wt. bromine-containing organic flame retardant, (C) 0-15 pts.wt. inorganic flame retardant and (D) 1-30 pts.wt. (meth)acrylamide- and/or (meth)acrylic acid ester-based copolymers, composed of 65-99mol% polyolefin unit expressed by formula I (R<1> is H or CH3), 0-15mol% (meth) acrylate unit expressed by formula II (R'' is R<1>; R<3> is a 1-12C alkyl) and 1-35mo1% (meth)acrylamide unit or (meth)acrylic acid ester unit expressed by formula III (Y is 0 or NH; R<4> is <1>''; R<5> is a 2-8C alkylene; R<6> and R<7> are each a 1-4C alkyl; R<8> is a 1-12C alkyl, a 6-12C arylalkyl, etc.; X is a halogen, ClO3, etc.) in which the units expressed by formulas I to III are linearly arranged and having 1000-50000 weight-average molecular weight. |
