PURPOSE:To take out refuse such as bottles in a refuse bag without breaking them and to perform easily classification of the refuse. CONSTITUTION:I,n a bag breaking apparatus wherein a refuse bag storing refuse is broken to take out the refuse in the refuse bag, the bag breaking apparatus is constituted of an apparatus wherein refuse bags are placed on a plurality of dividing plates provided at a specified interval and a space part between the dividing plates is provided on the refuse bag placing stage 6 formed on the refuse falling path and above the refuse bag placing stage 6 and the apparatus is freely rotatable in such a way that the tip part runs into between the dividing plates by means of an appropriate actuator and to pierce the refuse bag placed on the refuse bag placing stage 6 from the upper side. In addition, it is constituted of a plurality of bag breaking bars 71 freely movably constituted along the dividing plates and a vibrational conveyer 8 provided below the placing stage 6 and carrying the refuse fallen through a falling path of the placing stage 6.
