The apparatus for removing foreign materials attached on the inner metallic pipe wall, radiates the microwave to thermally dissolve the foreign materials without damage to the pipe. The apparatus comprises a connecting pipe with an antenna formed at an end of the water supply pipe; a microwave generator for radiating the microwave into the pipe; another connecting pipe at the other end of the water supply pipe; a microwave detector, for detecting the microwave, directly inserted into the connecting pipe; a control unit for controlling the output of the microwave generator according to the detecting level.
