PURPOSE: To provide a structurally strong oscillating spindle sander by disposing upper and lower cam pulleys having toothed rims different in number of teeth and mutually engaging cam faces, and fixing a spindle to one cam pulley. CONSTITUTION: One of a cam pulley 56 provided with a toothed rim having a first number of teeth and a cam face and a cam pulley 58 provided with a toothed rim having a number of teeth different from the first number of teeth and a cam face is fixed to a spindle 24 fitted with a polishing drum 34, and the other is installed relatively rotatably. The cam pulleys 56, 58 are respectively connected to a rotation output part of an electric motor through toothed pulley belts 90, 96. The cam pulley 56 is elastically pressed by a pressing means 68 so that the cam pulley 56 and the annular cam face of the cam pulley are engaged with each other. |
