PURPOSE:To heighten the rigidity in the axial direction while the processing cost is suppressed by forming a projection on a resilient member. CONSTITUTION:An intermediate cylinder 16 is fitted in an outer cylinder metal piece 12, and an inner cylinder metal piece 18 embodied in the form of a circular tube is positioned coaxially with the outer cylinder metal piece 12. By means of vulcanized adhesion, a resilient member 24 of rubber is installed between the intermediate cylinder 16 and inner cylinder metal piece 18. On the resilient member 24 a projection 24A is formed which protrudes upward at the top of a supporting part 18A. In case this is incorporated in a car, the resilient member 24 is deformed by the load of a body 20, and the projection 24A is intruded downward from the top of the supporting part 18A so that an internal stress is produced in the resilient member 24. This decreases the load of body 20 applied to the inner cylinder metal piece 18 to lead to heightening of the rigidity in the P direction. |
