PURPOSE:To obtain an ink jetting apparatus having a long service life of an electrode and high reliability by controlling a voltage to.be applied to the electrode so that one diaphragm is warped in a direction opposite to a warping direction of a common diaphragm. CONSTITUTION:A side wall 121b except a part held between electrodes 131b and 132b does not shrink because of the absence of a driving electric field. A compressive distortion, namely, a negative distortion acts at the part of the side wall 121b held between the electrodes 131b and 132b, and a tensile distortion in an opposite direction to that of the compressive distortion, i.e., a positive distortion acts at the side wall 121b except the part held between the electrodes 131b and 132b. As a result, the side wall 121b is rapidly deformed like a bimorph towards the inside of an ink liquid chamber 122b. |
