MANUFACTURING PROCESS FOR POLYESTER COMPOSITE FIBER HAVING CRIMP TENDENCY

The two kinds of polyester homopolymers having a different intrinsic viscosity are arranged along the length direction of yarn to have side by side section pattern and relaxation heat-treated to exhibit spontaneous high crimp properties. One of the homopolymers is the polybutylene terephthalate (I) and the other is the polyethylene terephthalate (II). The intrinsic viscosities of compound I and II are 0.85-1.13 and 0.52-0.65, respectively. The difference of intrinsic viscosities between two polymers is below than 0.5.
