METHOD OF PREPARING CELULOSE ACETATE FIBER HAVING HIGH ELONGATION

The polyurethane chips are dissolved in dimethylformamide till the degree of density of dissolved polyurethane reaches to 12-18 wt.% and the solution is added to the raw spinning solution of acetate filament at the ratio of 8-15 wt.% on the basis of acetate. The mixed raw solution is heated to 62-68 deg.C before spinning and the spun filaments are dried by 85-92 deg.C hot wind to obtain an improved degree of extension as 15-25% compare with that of conventional cellulose acetate fiber.
