The present invention relates to a method of transferring, to a retrieval or data management apparatus (20), measurement data relating to the consumption of electricity measured by a measurement probe (10), the said probe (10) being equipped with at least one energy sensor (11) and with a radiofrequency emitter (14) and the same retrieval apparatus (20) being equipped with a radiofrequency receiver (21). The probe (10) continuously logs the electrical consumption and temporarily stores, in the form of data, this value in a memory (16) of the probe (10). On request by the user, it transmits to the receiver (21) of the said retrieval apparatus (20) a data block consisting of a number of the said measurement data stored in the memory (16). <IMAGE>
