The steering apparatus, for steering 2 wheels or 4 wheels of the heavily equipped vehicle used in construction, dislays the steering mode change. The apparatus comprises a 1st switch (18) for actuating a 1st solenoid valve (8); a 2nd switch (18) for actuating a 2nd solenoid valve (8); a 1st limit switch (26) sensing one stroke end of a piston (28) positioned in a state of steering rear wheels; a 2nd limit switch sensing the other stroke end of a piston (28) positioned in a state of fixing rear wheels; a displayer displaying the steering mode change.
