Veterinary compsns. contain lysozyme (I) or its salts and one or more lipophilic vitamins (II) or their salts. (I) is used in hydrochloride form. (II) are selected from vitamin A, vitamin A propionate, vitamin D3, vitamin E and vitamin E acetate. The compsn. are formulated as aq. emulsions contg. propylene glycol (PG), a nonionic surfactant and opt. antioxidants and/or preservatives. USES - The compsn. are esp. useful for relieving stress in poultry, giving general improvement in health and growth. |
