<p>The invention focuses upon the till-handling of day-to- day goods and consumables provided with barcode price tags in shops having optical reading devices for the said price tags. With the aid of the device and the process according to the invention, the work at the tills is made significantly speedier and easier, since time-wasting and ergonomically difficult handling stages are eliminated. According to the process, the customer, during the shopping expedition, sticks the price tags of selected products, or copies thereof which have been fed out from weighing devices or optical reading devices in the shop, in the place for the sticking on goods, or in addition to this, also on a separate collection medium, for example on a collection tape 1 mounted in a collection tape cassette 4 - 9, 16, the part of which filled during the shopping expedition is fed from the collection tape cassette to the feeder part 10 - 15 of the device and along a therein disposed pass-through line 15, provided with a read opening, over the optical reader 12 of the cash till, so that the information in the price tags is relayed to the cash till for the print-out of a receipt. <IMAGE></p> |
