There is specified dyed artificial hair for implantation which is dyed in its interior and has no colour pigments on its surface. This dyed artificial hair is dyed by forcing dyestuff into the hair and is subsequently treated reductively or oxidatively. In a special embodiment it is preferred to seal the dyed artificial hair at the skin implantation depth by an elastic or inelastic film.
