An interlinkable free-standing wall exhibits a frame (7) which is made up of profiles. In order to ensure an interlinkable free-standing wall with a high degree of torsional rigidity and strength and a comparatively thin and narrow structure, the load-bearing and transverse profiles (3, 5) which produce the frame (7) are connected in their corner regions via corner angle pieces (53). The corner angle pieces (53) are fastened, by means of screwed-in screws (38), on the load-bearing and transverse profiles (3, 5), in which corresponding screw ducts (51, 51') are provided. The corner angle pieces (53) are covered by a securable covering cap (45). <IMAGE>
